Thirumal Perumai

Thirumal Perumai is a Tamillanguage film, directed by A. P. Nagarajan and released in 1968. It was his 9th film and also his first for 1968. The film features Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini in lead role. Sivakumar starred in this film, one of his best roles ever. The films title means the Lords glory in Tamil.

As she grew up, she learnt about Krishna and loved him. Once, she wore the Lords garland. Just as she was admiring herself her father caught her and slapped her. After much crying, she promised never to wear the Lords garland again. The devotee did service to Lord Vishnu and put the garland on him. To his surprise, it fell off.The devotee learnt that Lord Vishnu only liked garlands that had been worn by Kothai. Kothai comes in with the previous garland and then they garland Lord Vishnu. ........
